Fulcrum’s Week in Events

We’ve got a big week this week in Events Land. Here’s a peek at some of our local ones:
Wednesday, June 22 at the Denver Botanic Gardens: Author Daniel Wildcat of Red Alert! Saving the Planet with Indigenous Knowledge will be guiding a walk through the gardens from 5:30-6:30 PM, followed by a lecture from 7-8:00 PM, with book signing to follow. Wildcat will address the very practical ways we can restore the balance to nature beyond our selves and the diversity of life on earth. Great speaker, but hurry, space is limited! $15 for members, $18 for nonmembers.
Saturday, June 25- Monday, June 27: The INATS West Conference (International New Age Trade Show) will be in Denver at the Denver Merchandise Mart, and we will be exhibiting! Register here to attend this amazing show, and please stop by and see some of the Native American, ecological, and spiritual titles we are discounting for the show (Booth # 706)!
OUT OF TOWN?
Friday, June 24: Jerry Apps, author of Campfires and Loon Calls will be at the Wild Rose Public Library at 6:30 PM discussing and signing his great book.
Finally, a couple of our Fulcrum employees will be attending The American Library Association Show in New Orleans later this week (Thursday, June 23- Tuesday, June 28). This is the largest library conference in the US and we’re envious of our colleagues who will be spending several days listening to great music, eating crawfish, and soaking up the amazing atmosphere (and attending the show, of course). Our graphic novel collection, Trickster will be featured prominently at the show, but more details about this to come in tomorrow’s blog.
